Information you choose to process
When you start recognition or translation, the selected images, relevant text and language settings are sent through our Cloudflare service to the configured AI processing provider. This supports menus, receipts, products, signs and tickets. Taking a photo or selecting it alone does not start recognition. Avoid submitting identity documents, payment details or unnecessary information about other people.
Your device and permissions
Images, saved results, order lists and language preferences are stored on your device until you delete them. System backups depend on your iOS settings. Camera and photo access require separate system permission, which you can change in Settings. We locally record the accepted agreement version and time. Declining prevents entry into the app.
Recognition tasks and retention
Private recognition tasks remain accessible for 24 hours. The service schedules deletion of their uploaded images and results when they expire; technical retries can delay cleanup. Limited task metadata used for recovery and duplicate prevention is scheduled for deletion seven days after expiry. Copies already saved on your device remain under your control.
Ordering together
Creating or joining a shared room sends its menu, nickname, selections and notes to the server and makes relevant content available to participants. Protect invitation links. Rooms normally expire after 24 hours, but expiry or closure does not automatically delete server records or participants’ copies. Deleting local history does not delete shared or cloud data. Contact us to request removal.
Providers and protection
Cloudflare hosts the website and services; the configured AI provider processes recognition and translation requests. Network addresses and technical security logs may be processed to deliver and protect the service. Providers may process information in other countries under applicable safeguards. Access controls and private storage reduce risk, but no system is risk-free. Provider retention and AI training practices are not guaranteed by this policy.
External searches and the website
Google Lens receives an original image only after you deliberately confirm its upload. Google Shopping, Amazon, Taobao, JD, official websites and review services apply their own policies when opened. This website stores your language choice in localStorage; it includes no advertising or analytics trackers. Hosting still requires technical request processing. You can clear website storage in your browser.
Purchases, rewards and younger users
Purchases and rewarded advertising are unavailable until separately configured and disclosed. If enabled, Apple handles App Store purchases; verified transaction or reward information may be processed to provide entitlements. Additional notices will describe any advertising provider. EasyMenu is not directed at children. Minors should use it with a parent or guardian’s involvement.
Your choices and rights
You can delete local history, revoke permissions and stop submitting information. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or withdrawal of consent by contacting HangZhou Caibo Network Technology Co., Ltd at contact@caibo-inc.com. We may need information to verify your request without collecting more than necessary. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing; necessary legal records may be retained. Material changes will be explained, and renewed agreement requested where appropriate.
